About Laura
My path into psychotherapy has been both professional and deeply personal.
Before becoming a therapist, I encountered my own experiences of trauma, addiction, emotional instability, burnout, shame, and the persistent feeling of being either too much or not enough. My healing required more than intellectual understanding. It asked for honesty, responsibility, sustained psychological work, and a willingness to meet the parts of myself I had learned to avoid.
This lived experience does not make my story the centre of our work. Rather, it informs the respect I hold for the courage, complexity, and time that genuine healing can require.
Alongside my personal journey, I have spent more than eight years studying and working across psychotherapy, trauma recovery, community support, nervous system regulation, addiction, energy medicine, and holistic healing.
My path to this work
What I believe about therapy
I do not believe people are broken.
Many of the patterns we struggle with began as intelligent responses to experiences we did not yet have the capacity, safety, or support to process. Over time, these protective strategies can become sources of disconnection, conflict, anxiety, or self-abandonment.
Therapy offers a space to understand these patterns rather than judge them.
My work is not centred on becoming a perfected or permanently healed version of yourself. It is about developing a more conscious relationship with the many parts of who you are—including those that have been hidden, rejected, or shaped by survival.
From a depth perspective, healing is not simply the removal of symptoms. It is a process of integration: becoming more able to hold complexity, recognise unconscious influences, and live with greater agency, meaning, and internal coherence.
How I work
My style is warm, thoughtful, honest, and engaged. I offer compassion without avoiding difficult truths, and I will gently challenge the beliefs or relational patterns that may be keeping you disconnected from yourself.
I draw from trauma-informed psychotherapy, attachment theory, Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, nervous system education, somatic awareness, and shadow work.
Where appropriate—and always according to your interests—our work may also include archetypal, symbolic, intuitive, or spiritual exploration.
You do not need to hold any particular spiritual beliefs to work with me. I remain open to the dimensions of human experience that cannot always be reduced to a diagnosis or explained through logic alone.
I believe psychological insight and spiritual inquiry can coexist: one gives us language and structure; the other creates space for mystery, meaning, and the life of the soul.
My commitment to my own healing has allowed me to build a wealth of knowledge and tools that now serve others in their transformations.

Beyond the therapy room
I am driven by a passion for freedom, self-expression, and creativity.
I am drawn to the places where psychology meets creativity, nature, movement, symbolism, and spirituality.
My own life continues to be shaped by curiosity, self-inquiry, art, meaningful relationships, and the ongoing process of becoming. I do not position myself as someone who has completed the work, but as a practitioner deeply committed to meeting it—with integrity, humility, and respect for the unconscious.
Work with me
I offer long-term, trauma-informed psychotherapy for people seeking more than immediate symptom relief.
This work is for those who want to understand themselves deeply, explore the origins of recurring patterns, and develop a more conscious relationship with their emotional, relational, and spiritual lives.
